Do you buy outright or just accept consignments?

We will always consider buying an item or entire collection outright. However, we have found in the past that a seller will get more money by consigning an item or collection if they run it across the auction arena and let many people bid on it. Auction fever is a wonderful thing

How much does it cost to sell an item or a collection?

Our commission rates are based on the value of the item or the collection. The higher the value, the lower the rate. Our rates range from 15% to 25%.

How does Shipping work?

We use a third party shipper (Navis Pack & Ship) in Novi, Michigan. All winning bids placed by off site bidders will be packed and placed on their truck as soon as it sells. Then it will be transported to their warehouse in Novi. Once you pay Showtime for the item, Navis will contact you to make arrangements for shipping.

What payment forms are accepted?

All Credit Cards except Discover, Check, Cash, PayPal with link mikeckles@aol.com

I can’t find the live auction.

To see the live auction, click either the LiveAuctioneers or iCollector link located at the bottom of each webpage. From there, you will be able to view the live auction as it is taking place.

 

How do I find sold item prices after the auction ends?

Prices Realized for our latest auction will be published 3 days after the auction ends. To see “Prices Realized” go to the home page and click the “Prices Realized” button located about half way down the page.

 

I can’t sign in to my LiveAuctioneers account.

The most common reason for sign-in mistakes is a bidder forgetting his/her password. You can use the Forgot Password link on the Sign In page to reset your password.

I bid the last amount. Why am I not the winning bidder?

While the bidding console was designed to be as simple as possible, there can be situations in which a bidder misinterprets the winning bid amount as his or her own when the item, in fact, sold to another bidder. If you still have questions pertaining to a specific  auction, email mike@showtimeauctions.com  for a transcript of the bidding activity to provide clarification.

 

How do I register and get approved for the auction?

There are two ways for a bidder to participate in an auction:

  1.  Click the LiveAuctioneers or iCollector link which are located on the bottom of every page webpage.
  2. Submitting an absentee bid that automatically registers the bidder for the auction. Please remember that you are solely responsible for bidder approvals for your auction.
What is your deadline for getting items into your auction?

We have two auctions a year. Our Spring auction is around the first week of April and our Fall Auction is around the first week of Oct. We can accept consignments up to 2 months prior to the auction.
